![]() ![]() If a link is very large, this is a better way to download without constantly hitting the quota limit part way through. Repeat for as much as you want to download. Right-click a file or folder and choose Download (not download as zip). In the new MEGAlink page choose which items to download. ![]() To download in smaller chunks log into your MEGA browser and with MEGAsync running, paste the MEGAlink into your browser. Would it help if i transfer this files to my mega account and lets say i download just 4gb of files to see if it helps to my transfer quota to not having to wait another 24hrs to keep downloading more files (at the end mega said i reached the 4gb but i know i only downloaded 3gb ) Hey novelexplorer i have a question, im curently downloading a game that it seems to be very requested, this is a link with a lot of compressed parts so inicially i just put the whole link in the mega desktop app and let it download in the background, mega keep saying i reached the limit after 24hrs (thats the time mega says the last file was downloaded in teh completed section ) after a while i noticed in the transfer says i had downloaded 1gb already but i didnt download any file i keep monitoring this and after i finish another part of 2gb the account said i had downloaded 3gb in total, another file started to download but i was only 500mb when mega said i reached the 4 gb so im guessing this is the bandwith youre talking about. If the transfer quota pauses the download, just leave MEGAsync alone and it will automatically resume when your quota gets reset. MEGAsync will know what's already been downloaded and only download the missing items. Once it's completed, add the link back in again and just start the download. So if it was a 5 GB total download, add in the link pause it in MEGAsync then remove say half the files and resume the download. ![]() When downloading large amounts, I'd recommend downloading in smaller chunks rather than all in one go. Also, Pro accounts take priority over free accounts. So if you start a download and other account holders, using the same MEGA servers, also start downloading, that will change how the available bandwidth is apportioned. ![]() it's variable based on the traffic MEGA sees at that particular moment. I'm not defending MEGA's transfer quota for free accounts, it's not universally liked! What I would say though is MEGA can't know what you want to download ahead of time and the transfer quota is dynamic. ![]()
